National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies Visits Krisoral and Company, as it embarks on a study tour of Anambra State

The National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies(NIPSS) has indicated its taking a study of how science, technology and innovation have contributed towards revolutionizing agriculture in Anambra state that has become a model.

Members of Study Group four and Senior Executive of Course 39 at NIPSS visited the state on a one-week study as part of its academic test in fulfillment of the requisite requirement to satisfy the syllabus of the eight months course, with the theme “Interaction of Science, Technology and Innovation in the development of Agriculture and Agro-allied Businesses.

The team led by Air Vice Marshal Okpala on a visit to Krisoral and Company Limited, a subsidiary of Krisoral Group of Companies, commended the management for opening the doors to them and conducting them around on facility tour of the company.

He expressed delight in the innovativeness of Krisoral owing to the state of art technology of its plants. He commended the company saying that there is no doubt that Krisoral and Company is contributing to the Gross Domestic Product of the country in general and Anambra State in particular.

The National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, in the words of Okpala, trains top level policy makers for the nation, strategic leaders for the country. According to him, participation is obviously for the select few because of lack of spaces.

Commenting on the theme, ““Interaction of Science, Technology and Innovation in the development of Agriculture and Agro-allied Businesses” Dr Maman said that Krisoral is playing a Key Role in aiding achievement of this goal through Agro-Allied Industry. The Deputy Group Managing Director, Krisoral Group of Companies, Mr. Henry who conducted the team round the company’s facilities commends the Institute for their contribution in nation building.
